A speculative rebrand of the RISD Museum centered around the ethos of “Museum as Container”. Autos Grotesk
Ongoing
Typeface

Autos is a neo-grotesque inspired by the humanistic warmth of early grotesques such as Lapidar or Französische Grotesk and the awkward silliness of the latin characters found in Asian typefaces such as Oriya Sangam MN or Lantinghei. Autos is an typographic exploration of the semiotic and aesthetic idiosyncrasies of these context-based design oddities. The name Autos (working title) comes from the Greek word meaning ‘self’. This typeface is still being refined, and is a constant work in progress. Further weights, italics, and documentations are forthcoming. Advised by Cyrus Highsmith.

This site is currently set in Autos :3

Meadow
Ongoing
Typeface

Meadow is a low-contrast serif typeface designed for text, loosely inspired by Story of Your Life, a sci-fi short story by Ted Chiang about aliens, linguistics, and love. Its extended serifs and rounded brackets give it a special kind of warmth and friendliness. Meadow is named after “White Meadow” by Bladee and Ecco2k, a song I listened to a lot while drawing the typeface. This typeface is still being refined, and is a constant work in progress. Further weights, italics, and documentations are forthcoming. Advised by Richard Lipton.
